We cannot say enough about Poncho, Berta and Carlos. Every day of our stay was amazing. We enjoyed the pool, gourmet meals and fabulous views. The house is beautifully appointed and our group of 11 had plenty of space, too much amazing food and tons of fun on vacation. Poncho arranged for ATV rides, hikes, boating, zip-lining, tequila tasting, and touring town. It was a great vacation - can't wait till our next visit!!

We were a party of 11 - My wife and I, 4 of our 5 children (plus a fiancé) and my brother and his 2 adult children. Once through the doors of the Villa, we instantly felt like we were on vacation. Amazing view overlooking the bay, comfortable bedrooms and a warm welcome from Poncho, Carlos and Berta.
Anything and everything you needed/wanted, Poncho was there to arrange it. Hiking - Poncho knows great trails and leads the way. Excursions into town, renting boats, zip-lining and ATV's - he made it happen and accompanied us to make sure reservations were in order.
Carlos was a food magician. When you thought your meal was over, another course was plated - each more delicious than the last. Whatever you wanted - from appetizers to dessert; afternoon snacks, special drinks - nothing was impossible.
Berta worked tirelessly throughout the day. Whether it was making sure there were enough pool towels, taking care of the rooms in the Villa - she was always running and aiming to please.
Don't think twice about renting Villa Los Arcos - it is well worth the investment!
The best vacation my family and I have been on! The house staff takes great pride in keeping the home immaculate. Chuy makes THE BEST food I have ever tasted. She is accommodating with her meal preparations and will cook anything requested. Her smile is infectious. Poncho strives to provide you with the best drinks and outdoors adventure your heart could desire. He will also arrange rides for you with ease.
We are thankful for this place as it allows us to truly unwind from the hustle of our daily lives and stay present in the moment with the ones we love the most!

The best vacation ever. Great staff. Chuy makes THE BEST food, wish she could go home with us to California. She is very accommodating. Alfonso is very accommodating, funny, and friendly.

I hesitate to write this review simply because I want to keep this beautiful gem a secret all to myself, much like Leonardo DiCaprio did in the movie The Beach. That's just how amazing this place is.
As soon as you walk through the front door of the Villa you are immediately floored by the view that awaits you, an infinity edge pool that bleeds off into the crystal blue Pacific Ocean with the majestic Los Arcos Islands roughly 1000 yards off to your right. Truly a spectacle only one can appreciate with their naked eye.
I took the wife down for her 30th birthday along with a group of our closest friends, there were 10 of us in total and each couple had their own amazing room complete with an ocean view. Reading the other reviews and viewing the photos one could not help but to have the highest expectations and I can easily say our expectations were exceeded beyond measurement. We were literally in the pool 90% of the time, that's how amazing the view is not to mention the Sunsets which were so beautiful they didn't even look real. The house is so incredible you really don't want to leave and do anything else.
The location and view aside, what makes this home a real gem is the staff that comes with it. Alfonso (your man that can get and do whatever you need), Chuey (the chef that makes the best food I've ever tasted, not to mention the best homemade tortillas I've ever had. That's saying a lot since I eat a lot) Charlie (the security guard who provides you with a walkie talkie in case you need him and sleeps outside in the studio by the garage for an added layer of protection) and the kind housekeeper Berta and her staff that ensures everything is clean and tidy especially after you've had a few too many cervezas and the kitchen looks like a hurricane blew through. Need something from the store? Alfonso can get it. Want to go hiking or zip lining? Alfonso knows the proprietor of each and can get you a great deal. Want to rent jet ski's that pick you up right out front of the property down the stone steps where the swim step is located? No problem, Alfonso will call his buddy. Accidentally injure yourself on said jet ski and require stitches? No problem, Alfonso has a first aid kit and also knows two local doctors in town that can see you right away even on a Sunday when they are not technically working... Anything you want to eat? Chuey will whip it up. Snacks, breakfast, lunch, dinner, extra quesadillas for late night? No problem, Chuey will cook it up along with her secret Diablo sauce that has just the right amount of spice even for a gringo like me.
They are so wonderful, kind, patient and funny that they feel like part of your family by the time you leave. They are what makes this home so special and so hard to leave and you truly miss them once you get home.
If after reading this review you are not sold on choosing Villa Los Arcos as your next vacation destination then I say "Wonderful!" that simply means the place won't be rented for when we come back and yes, we will be coming back at least once every year. We decided this is one vacation spot that you simply cannot get enough of.

I consider myself a well seasoned Puerto Vallarta "Private Luxury Villa Rental" aficionado having rented 8 different villas over the course of 6 years now. I've made it an annual tradition to experience a new private villa every August in PV, some years visiting more than once. Each villa has offered a different location, view, service, chef and overall vibe. I've experienced sleek and modern 12,000 sq. foot villas boasting 8 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms to smaller, luxuriously appointed 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom villas with incredible art collections. Each villa experience has had its pro's and con's - from wild animals foraging for food in the kitchen late at night to amazing settings but miserably disappointing chefs. I'm happy to say that Villa Los Arcos was one of the BEST experiences I've ever had in all of my PV luxury villa experiences - and I'm a HARD critic!!!
First and foremost, hands down, the staff was/is AMAZING - Alfonso, Chuey and Becka! Alfonso, the house manager, kicked my friends' butts with early morning hikes through the mountains, waterfalls and natural pools - and they LOVED it! Every evening before departing he would ask "Do you want tomorrow morning's hike easy, medium or hard?" For those of us who wanted nothing to do with a morning hike whatsoever, we awoke to coffee by the pool followed by an incredible "Chuey-made" breakfast - absolutely delicious! EVERY meal that Chuey created was incredible - and that's saying A LOT!!! She is simply amazing!
We wanted to rent jet-skis for an afternoon and Alfonso arranged to have 4 jet-skis DELIVERED and WAITING FOR US on the water at the dock below the house!!! We simply hopped on and took off... Incredible!
The list of positives about Villa Los Arcos goes on and on... All I can say is that our experience was absolutely wonderful and I would whole-heartedly recommend it to any of my closest family and friends. It was a blissful, beautiful, relaxing, carefree, delicious, pampered, satisfying experience! Treat yourself and experience it for yourself!

Our experience could not have been improved! We took our six children and a son-in-law and had the most wonderful time. Alfonso made all of our "dreams" come true--we went snorkeling, scuba diving, night diving for lobster, surfing, beach horseback riding, zip-lining, tequila tasting, hiking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, rode the bus into town, visited the zoo and thoroughly enjoyed Chuey's delicious meals and being in their beautiful home. One of my favorite memories was going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks below our incredible bedroom that was built right into the rocks. I couldn't wait to open up the shutter doors in the morning to look out and watch the the sky turn every shade of blue against the backdrop of the Los Arcos rocks. Many, many thanks to the precious staff and the owners for a perfect family vacation.
This was one of the best VRBO homes we have ever rented. It had close access to great hikes, the botanical garden, the city and country. The home had purified water so it made it safe and easy just to drink right out of the tap. The staff was wonderful and very accomidating. It was great to have home made authentic organic foods each day. The infinity pool brought the ocean into our living space. We definately will go back and highly recommend this property to anyone who needs to re-charge there body and connect with nature in a relaxed and private enviroment.

Villa Los Arcos is an amazing piece of property. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with smiles and welcome cocktails by an amazing staff. The view through the front door is absolutely breathtaking. The chef/house manager, Chuey and Alphonso made our stay absolutely wonderful. The food was incredible and anything we need Alphonse made sure we were taken care of. A group of 9 of us were able to comfortable fit in the villa and we pretty much stayed at the house the entire time- there was never a reason to leave! One afternoon, Alphonso did takes us on a great hike to another beach where we then took a small boat back to near the house...so I do recommend this. Alphonso arranged massages for our group as well! I will most certainly be back and am already missing the villa! It was definitely a weekend to remember with so many great memories and I highly recommend visiting Villa Los Arcos!!!

Villa Los Arcos is an incredibly beautiful vacation home. The view through the front door straight to the ocean is fabulous. The staff is amazing and the food is delicious. We never left the house! The pool area is shaded most of the day so if you want sun, you can take a short walk down the street to the beach or a boat ride (provided by the staff) to an island. If you love the sound of crashing waves, then the lower bedrooms are for you. We had a group of 5 couples and this was our second time to stay here. I would highly recommend it!
